New and exclusive details have been revealed about a meeting that took place between Tom Cruise and Her Majesty, a few months before her death.
According to reports from local media outlets, the two really ‘hit it off’ well as the Top Gun star made his way to enjoy a cup of tea in the Royal Palace.
The Top Gun superstar was even given special permission to allow his helicopter to land in the Queen’s yard and that is something that royal experts were quite remarkable and unheard of at Windsor Castle.
Other speculations went about claiming that the movie star was a high-priority guest for the Queen’s Golden Jubilee Celebrations that took place during the earlier part of this year.
The meeting was reportedly scheduled just a few weeks before the Queen died and insiders of the Palace did confirm how she just adored his presence and it wouldn’t be wrong to say that they were secret friends.
“She loved having him over the summer. He was a joyful personality indeed and she really adored that about him”- the insider explained.
Tom Cruise was even invited back for lunch at the palace but sadly, the Queen had died and that was an invite that we bet he’d be cherishing because to be one of the few stars to be given this much honor and respect from the Queen herself is just mindblowing.
Cruise was in the United Kingdom filming his latest Mission Impossible movie in the United Kingdom and that was the reason he was spotted so frequently.
After the Queen’s death, Cruise did pen down a heartfelt tribute in her honor. He acknowledged all the hard work and services she had offered for the betterment of the country while calling out all of her accomplishments as historic.
