A Hollywood A-lister looked unrecognizable as he was spotted on the set of highly-anticipated movie currently known as BC Project.
In the photos shared by DailyMail.com, the 49-year-old actor is seen talking over the pay phone with a worrying look on his face. The man looks rugged in worn-out clothes and appears to be camouflaging his face with black shades and a black hat.
Across his right shoulder, the actor is carrying a dark backpack with a smaller, pink bag clipped to it.
But the real question remains. Do you know who the unrecognizable Hollywood legend is?
The answer is Leonardo DiCaprio.
Besides the scene with the pay phone, the actor was also spotted on the set chatting with the movie’s director Paul Thomas Anderson who appeared to be sharing his notes with DiCaprio.
While the film’s plot remains secret, it was recently revealed that the likes of Regina Hall and Sean Penn have been cast alongside DiCaprio. Variety also reported that the movie’s budget is close to $100 million.
DiCaprio’s new project comes after the actor was snubbed for an Oscar nomination for his Killers of the Flower Moon role. While the movie received multiple nominations, such as the Best Actress for Lily Gladstone, Best Picture, Best Supporting Actor, and Best Director, DiCaprio wasn’t included in the mix.
“My nomination is equal parts his. I would not have been able to do what I did without his generosity as an actor and as a human being,” Gladstone said as she defended her co-star.
Speaking out was also Director Martin Scorsese who shared: “He went so far into the complexities and contradictions of a man who was so weak, so malleable, who did such unspeakable things, but who also truly loved his wife.
“Leo fearlessly created a true Everyman … an Everyman that people just don’t want to acknowledge. So that will endure.”
