Rapper Rich Homie Quan DEAD at 34


Rapper Rich Homie Quan was found dead at the age of 34.

According to reports from local media outlets, the star whose real name is Dequantes Devontay Lamar passed away at his residence in Atlanta.

He was all set to perform a show in his hometown in a couple of weeks at Nick Cannon’s Wild N Out alongside the likes of other leading musicians.

His family has released a statement on the matter where they told TMZ that they are so shattered and heartbroken by the sudden loss that came all of a sudden after a month that was shy of his 35th birthday.

One representative who hails from the Fulton County Morgue also spoke about the news of his death to the outlet.

Online rumors of the drug overdose were fueled by several other musicians but his family is yet to confirm the cause of death.

Fellow rapper Playboi Carti is amongst those to lead the tributes for the late star. He posted several images of him through his account on Instagram.
