One hotel reception worker in Buenos Aires was delegated the task of making a distressing 999 call where he requested urgent assistance before singer Liam Payne fell 45 feet to his death from a balcony.
Chilling new details spoke about how the panicked call emerged when the One Direction star started to behave erratically in the hotel’s lobby which took the staff by storm.
Moments later, he was guided to his hotel room and told to calm down. He locked himself inside but they could hear a lot of destruction taking place.
On that note, the hotel feared for his well-being as his hotel featured a balcony and therefore they knew that his life was in danger.
Unfortunately, their worst nightmare came out to be true and the star fell from the third floor into the courtyard of the Casa Sur Hotel in Argentina.
He was allegedly said to be high on drugs and alcohol which didn’t allow him to think straight. Other reports spoke about him smashing a laptop.
Immediate police assistance was requested after providing details of the incident and also the address of the hotel. But moments after the distress call was made, the star had already jumped to his death and was pronounced dead by paramedics.
