President Joe Biden was seen joking in a room full of Democratic donors and insiders as he bid them farewell and thanked them for their support.

He requested all guests to please remain calm and refrain from jumping into the pool which led to plenty of smiles across the room as he hosted a weekend dinner to thank them before leaving office.

Some attendees were still trying to reel from the aftermath of the elections which certainly did not go in their favor as the new President-elect is Donald Trump.

Biden joked and laughed and posed for pictures among all the Democratic donors which was hosted at the South Lawn in the White House.

Both Joe and Jill Biden made sure all the guests felt comfortable as they went around meeting and greeting them throughout the evening.

Biden expressed great gratitude and explained to everyone how they could have never reached the point where they stand today if it was not for their support. ‘I mean it from the bottom of my heart’- Biden added.

Some sources claim that the Bidens were expecting many more donors to attend including some who had donated up to $250K but chose to steer clear of the event for unspecified reasons.
