We are inching closer to the 2024 US Presidential elections and many cannot help but wonder if Donald Trump will make another return.
If that is the case and he does end up winning, insiders are disclosing more on whether or not his wife and the former first lady Melania Trump will do the same.
PEOPLE magazine spoke to several sources that are close to Melania’s circle to get the inside scoop about the matter. They put out their opinions on whether or not she would like to make Washington DC her home for the second time again.
Most people had similar thoughts on this. If Melania does become the first lady again, of course, people do expect her to move into the White House and carry out appropriate duties.
But the 54-year-old might not be so keen on relocating to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue as per one source.
The reason is that she will have her private living apartment there while her home is in New York. She also has a residence in Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, another source adds. Therefore, she would like to spend all of her time in these areas.
When asked more specifically if she is keen to make the White House her main residence, insiders confirmed that that was not going to be the case.
Her son Barron Trump is 18 and entered his first year of studies at NYU. She hopes to be by his side and spend time with him as he’s the only child that she shares with the former US president.
