Donald Trump is making history again and this time around, it has to do with becoming the first convicted felon to hold the presidential office.

As per reports from Radar Online, the embattled president-elect lost his final bid to have the hush money case conviction tossed out.

In May, the Manhattan jury found him guilty of 34 counts of falsifying business records and concealing payments to ex-adult film star Stormy Daniels before the 2016 election.

Trump was said to be sentenced in the case during the latter part of November but the shocking new election victory forced the judge to postpone the sentencing to another date.

Prosecutors were also in agreement at the time and felt that the president-elect wouldn’t be sentenced while he held the seat of office but again argued that his criminal conviction would still stand.

The sentencing could be altered or even delayed but getting rid of the conviction as a whole would result in an extreme remedy.

Then on Monday, the judge ruled how the charges would not be dismissed despite the new president-elect’s lawyers doing everything to try and toss out the conviction, stating he was now the country’s head of state.
