Hulk Hogan broke his silence and shared his love for Jesus after getting baptized.
The legendary WWE wrestler, 70, got baptized at Indian Rocks Baptist Church in Florida along with his wife, Sky Daily Hogan.
Hogan and his wife took their social media followers by surprise on Wednesday as they shared a series of photos and videos marking the special occasion.
“Total surrender and dedication to Jesus is the greatest day of my life. No worries, no hate, no judgment… only love!” the wrestler wrote.
In snaps from the church, Hulk is seen wearing a white T-shirt and his iconic white bandana along with a silver cross necklace.
“God is doing amazing things at Indian Rocks,” the church in question shared as they reflected on Hulk’s baptism.
The baptism comes months after the six-time wrestling champion opened up about his religious journey and revealed he welcomed Jesus Christ into his life as a teenager.
“I accepted Christ as my savior at 14-years-old and the training, prayers and vitamins kept me in the game but now that I am one with God, the main event theme of surrender, service and love makes me the Real Main Event that can slam any giant of any size through the power of my Lord and Savior and so it is, even now brother, AMEN!” he tweeted back in April.
In 2009, he also told TMZ that leaning on faith helped him overcome his struggles arising from his divorce from ex-wife Linda.
“I’ve leaned on my religion. I accepted Christ as my savior. He died on the cross and paid for my sins. I found some very good friends who told me about being positive and the power of positive thinking,” he said at the time.
“I could have went the wrong way. I could have self-destructed, but I took the high road.”
