A mom has recalled some of the screams she made after a mega hurricane sent a tree that was as wide as a tractor, crashing down on her two little kids.
This led to the children’s death on the spot.
The victims were identified as Harmony Taylor and her little brother Derrick Taylor who passed away from the horrific incident during the early hours of Friday morning.
This was in Sandersville Georgia. The mother Crystal Taylor explained how she fell asleep while watching television with her oldest kid Harmony and Derrick went to sleep in the same bed.
The mother recalled how she wished she had held on to them a little longer as that would have kept them away from their bed and close by her side.
The death toll from Hurricane Helene has crossed 150 as the natural disaster broke power lines and caused widespread damage amongst different states.
While the other trees were still standing, it was the oak tree that ended up falling to the ground. The mother says she feared for the worse when she screamed for her babies and her nightmare came to life in no time.
They had both passed away and the family will now have to live with this devastating aftermath forever.
