One husband is taking his relationship problems to Reddit where he hopes to get advice on a matter that he claims to be beyond baffling.
The anonymous man began his detailed account by revealing how shocked and confused he was to learn that his wife set up cameras at her boyfriend’s home so she could spy on his new lover.
“There were secret or hidden cameras everywhere and I just did not know what to make of it,” he went on to explain.
The 34-year-old added how his wife Claire’s ex-partner was Adam who also happens to be the father of one of her children. Moreover, he continued by stating how Adam just recently started to date a new partner, nearly eight months back.
When the new lover was introduced to Adam and Claire’s daughter, Claire was beyond furious. She even started to demand meetings with Adam’s new lover to figure out what type of stepmother she would turn out to be.
However, that was just not enough and that’s when she felt to go one step ahead and put up cameras at their home to spy on the new mystery woman.
The man says that when the couple was out on a getaway, he found out what his wife had done and was baffled. He felt the need to confront her and that’s what he ended up doing.
“I told her that I found out by reading the chat that she had with her mother. She was in on it too and was just speechless as it was a breach of their privacy. And that fact that Adam didn’t know was also so wrong,” the man continued.
When he faced her, Claire said that she wasn’t afraid of anyone and she just needed to double-check and make sure. But that response wasn’t convincing for the man who seeks others’ advice on the matter.
