David Soul who gained massive fame for his in the 1970s hit television series Starsky & Hutch before leading the charts for his role in the hit production ‘Don’t Give Up On Us’ has reportedly passed away at the age of 80.
His wife Helen Snell reportedly mentioned how the star passed away after a long and difficult battle with life but the exact cause and circumstances of his death are yet to revealed to the public. She added how his loving family stood by him during this very difficult time.
The British-American star’s fans were devastated after hearing the news online. His wife was the one leading the tributes and she mentioned to the world how he was the most loving father, husband, and brother, as well as grandfather for all. He passed away yesterday in the company of those that meant the most, she continued.
He is believed to have shared some extraordinary gifts with the world including his wonderful ability to tell stories, be a creative artist, and be a striking friend for all.
Others recalled how his smile, laughter, and passion in general would be remembered for life by those who meant so much to him and those whose lives he managed to touch.
Soul played plenty of famous roles in other leading television series and even pushed other co-stars to similarly do their best. Those who worked alongside him mentioned how he was a treat to be with on air. “He lit up the sets with his energy and smile. He would be dearly missed”- another mentioned.
Soul is believed to have married five times and leaves behind his kids who were seen mourning for his father’s loss.
He was a man of great passion and even spoke about how he fell in love with the UK after spending so much time over there. He was so dedicated to living a life of his own and after falling in love with his partner Helen in the UK, he opted to live there and continue his life.
