The famous 58-year-old striker of England was in the middle of covering the Rochdale and Plymouth Argyle’s second-round clash that took place on Saturday. But little did he know that he would be informed of his mother’s death during the noon hours.
The renowned television host and pundit was informed that Nesta who is the woman that brought him up as a child in South London was no more, passing away at the age of 94.
Previously, the star striker had shed light upon how difficult of a childhood he had in terms of difficult parents, speaking about his abusive stepfather in particular.
