Tragic reports have confirmed the death of a woman in Illinois who was killed right outside her home.
According to reports from local media outlets, she was shot after officers received a complaint about a man near her block with a gun.
The victim was said to undergo life-saving brain tumor surgery the next day, leaving her family heartbroken.
The Peoria Police Department shared how the woman made a complaint of a man in her driveway and before they knew it, she was killed by the same man who was her former lover.
Just moments before the incident arose, the suspect was called as the main suspect in two other shootings.
This included one where he murdered another resident. Witnesses spoke about how ten shots were discharged from his weapon. They immediately began to resuscitate the victim but it was in vain.
The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital on Tuesday but she had no pulse and no breathing. She was soon declared dead after arrival.
The autopsy showed how her body was ridden with bullets. The other suspect shot was a male who suffered from non-life-threatening injuries. Detectives were able to identify the suspect in both these incidents after gathering information. The suspect shot himself and died on the spot.
