India has fired a missile into Pakistan while referring to the action as a mistake that it deeply regrets.
According to local media sources, India did acknowledge the action but called it a huge mistake. Moreover, they even went on to justify how the incident had taken place during maintenance activity and was not something that it had planned from before.
The action took place on Friday, sending shock waves around the globe as war fever has already enveloped Europe, and many hope that it doesn’t include Asia as well.
Authorities in India explained how the incident comprised of a missile being fired across the border into its neighboring and nuclear arms-rich country Pakistan. They then went on to refer to the action as a technical malfunction, as cited by officials in India’s defense ministry.
The bombing is being looked upon as deeply regrettable and there are so far no reports about any lives being lost.
As it is, both countries in South East Asia have shared a history of great border tension and this latest incident is certainly not something to miss out upon.
Many were quick to turn to social media to discuss the alarming affair while others called India out for their ‘technical mistake’ that could have potentially resulted in the innocent loss of life.
After the missile landed in an area inside Pakistan, the country’s defense ministry has immediately ordered a high-level meeting and investigation into the ordeal.
“It is a matter of relief that there has been no loss of life in the incident”- they further claimed.
This particular statement came just a few hours after Pakistan’s foreign ministry condemned the act and referred to it as a matter of unprovoked violation of its airspace by one supersonic flying object of Indian origin.
