Accused killer Luigi Mangione was recently indicted on federal charges for reportedly gunning down a UnitedHealthcare CEO named Brian Thompson.

The government shared on Thursday, just days after the feds mentioned that they sought the death penalty in the high-profile assassination.

 

The four-count indictment unsealed in Manhattan federal court charged the 26-year-old with murder through the use of a firearm, two counts of stalking, and firearms offenses for the killing that took place on December 4, where the healthcare boss was murdered in the Big Apple.

Therefore, Mangione is now facing state murder charges in Manhattan and would be appearing before Judge Margaret Garrett as soon as Friday to formally respond to the charges laid down.

The latest news on this front comes just days after the American Attorney General Pam Bondi shared how the feds will now urge the jury to take the rare step of ordering what would be the city’s first federal execution in seven decades.

Luigi Mangione’s murder of Brian Thompson was premeditated and a cold-blooded killing that left the nation in shock.
