Celebrities are leading the way to slam insurance firms for canceling millions of policies in Los Angeles ahead of the disastrous wildfires that took center stage.
This left homeowners affected by the tragedy in a complete state of shock, worry, and panic after they were told they couldn’t be compensated for the massive losses taking center stage.
Tyler Perry was one amongst many who felt that this was just wrong, slamming the decision was one of pure greed and designed to worsen an already aggravating issue.
The filmmaker even took to his account on social media to share his two cents on the matter including how this was not the American that many signed up to be in.
‘How dare you think that this is okay. We’ve got all kinds of people living in the neighborhood and no one wants to hear that they can’t be able to get insurance claims because you decide to be all greedy one day!’- he shared.
Millions of policies were seen going down the drain for LA homeowners. Images were shared online of citizens left with no choice but to take matters into their own hands.
One woman took a hose and started to put out the blaze at her parents’ home who were 90 years old. ‘Their insurance was canceled so I have no other choice than this!’- she cried.
