Fans are praising Jada Pinkett Smith for ignoring all the jokes made directly at her by Chris Rock, moments before the comedian was slapped by Will Smith on stage at the Oscars.

Local media reports revealed how so many users on social media were quick to point out how if there was anyone that could walk out of all of this with some dignity by their side, it would certainly be Will Smith’s wife.

Her husband reportedly slapped Chris Rock after he stormed on stage during the presenter’s segment and warned the comedian against taking his wife’s name.

Chris Rock had made a joke relating to Jada Pinkett Smith’s shaven head, despite knowing about her public battle with alopecia in 2018.

The comedian mentioned that he was looking forward to her role in ‘G.I. Jane 2’ after referencing her very obvious shaved hair.

But the 50-year-old actress seemed like she couldn’t care less as she was captured on camera rolling her eyes at him and his comments.

Many referred to her behavior as dignified and graceful at the Oscars last night.

The incident is very similar to one where Rock had mocked model and actress Demi Moore for having less hair in 1997.

“Keep my wife’s name out of your f*****g mouth”- Will Smith could be heard yelling at the top of his lungs after he slapped Rock.

Just a few moments later, Will Smith was called back to accept his award for ‘Best Actor’ and for that, he reportedly received a standing ovation. This is also when he apologized for his behavior but seemed more concerned about being invited back next year after his outrageous behavior.

“Her response during the explosive moment needs to be commended. She remained calm with grace”- added another fan who seemed to be more than impressed with the actress’s reaction.
