Jamie Foxx’s family has shared a major health update after the actor’s medical emergency last month.

It was previously revealed that the Hollywood actor was rushed to the hospital over an undisclosed medical condition and that he remained in an Atlanta facility for weeks while undergoing tests and recovering from his health scare.

Now, Jamie’s daughter, 29-year-old Corinne Foxx, revealed that her father is recovering at home and that he has already been out of the hospital for weeks.

Further raising our hopes that the 55-year-old Back in Action star is now in safe waters, Corinne also revealed that her dad is already playing pickleball and is very active.

“Update from the family: Sad to see how the media runs wild,” Corinne said as she shared reports claiming Jamie’s family was “preparing for the worst.”

“My Dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating. In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday! Thanks for everyone’s prayers and support!”

Corinne’s health update comes amid conflicting reports about the actor’s condition. While some accounts claimed otherwise, Jamie appears to be in high spirits and recovering from the comfort of his home.

The nature of his health condition remains unclear.

The news comes weeks after the Foxx family shared a grisly statement confirming the actor’s hospitalization.

“We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday [Tuesday],” they wrote on April 12.

“Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time.”
