Sources close to Hollywood actor and comedian Jamie Foxx have shared a health update after his medical emergency landed him in a hospital.
On Tuesday morning, the 55-year-old Django Unchained star was hospitalized after an undisclosed medical condition that was branded as serious by people with knowledge of the actor’s health status.
TMZ has now confirmed that Jamie remains in hospital for recovery but “is doing a lot better” according to an insider.
Apparently, the actor is already in a condition good enough to be joking around with his family members who rallied at the Atlanta hospital after Jamie’s “medical emergency.”
The publication also revealed that Jamie and his family still haven’t gotten all the answers whereas the doctors are looking into the nature of the actor’s sudden health scare.
It is believed that Foxx will remain in the hospital for a few more days to undergo various tests, TMZ added.
The health update comes shortly after it was revealed that Jamie’s emergency was severe enough for his relatives – including some of those who don’t live in Atlanta – to rush to the hospital to be by his side.
“He’s communicating now, and that’s good news,” one source previously told TMZ, clearly implying that Jamie was unable to communicate for some time after his emergency.
Speaking out was also the actor’s daughter, Corinne Foxx, who said her celebrity father was in “great care” and on the mend.
“We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time,” she said.
Our thoughts remain with Jamie and the family during this challenging time.
