Jamie Foxx’s longtime friend Kevin Hart has spoken out and shared an update about the actor’s condition after his hospitalization last month.

Three weeks ago, Foxx was hospitalized at an Atlanta medical facility after undergoing a medical emergency triggered by undisclosed causes.

As of this writing, the 55-year-old Hollywood star remains in hospital where he is undergoing tests. It is not yet clear when he will be discharged and when he will be well enough to return to the filming of his upcoming movie Back in Action.

Now, Kevin Hart broke his silence and revealed that Foxx is getting better and better and that he remains silent about his health scare because he is a private person.

“I’m very fortunate to have the relationship that I have with Jamie and to be able to just check on him and stuff like that,” Hart said.

“The dope thing is that he’s getting better in his situation, and you know, everybody’s prayers, everybody’s love, energy. All that stuff is seen and felt.”

Hart also said Foxx’s family continues to be “tight” on the information because “Jamie’s always been a private person to a certain degree.”

“So in this case, man, you know, you just want the guy to get out of the situations and then get back home,” he added.

“You know, I don’t know the details, or the exact details to what’s going on, but to my knowledge is there’s a lot of progression and a world of better, man.”

The good news comes just a day after Foxx spoke out to confirm that he was feeling better.

“Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed,” he wrote in the caption of his Instagram post.
