Jennifer Garner has been praised by her fans after she was spotted helping a homeless man in a wheelchair.
The 51-year-old actress was seen getting affectionate with a homeless man in Santa Monica, Los Angeles, after spotting him moving around the beach parking lot.
It was reported that Garner gave a pack of essential items to the struggling man. She also knelt down and attempted to give him her own shoes after seeing he was barefoot.
Unfortunately, however, the shoes were too small for the man, prompting the actress to ask a nearby photographer to go get some shoes for the man with her money.
The photographer declined any payment and instead offered his own shoes to the man. He also asked the actress to give the man his spare change and some clothes.
In the video shared on social media, Jennifer was seen talking to the photographer and showing off several essentials packed in a goodie bag that she gave to the homeless man.
While handing over the goods, she also gave the man a pack of food that he could enjoy immediately.
The kindhearted exchange took place on Sunday as the actress went to enjoy a walk on the Santa Monica beach. For the occasion, she dressed casually in black leggings, a white T-shirt, and a black and white hat.
This isn’t the first time Garner has shown off her generous side, whereas she has been working with Save the Children organization for more than a decade.
“I’ve worked with Save the Children for the last 14 years. And I hunted them down when I had been researching what organization had the most efficacy in rural America,” she previously said.
“Because I grew up in West Virginia where I knew some kids that could really use a helping hand.”
