Hollywood legend and Good Times actor John Amos has died.

The star passed away in Los Angeles due to natural causes and was 84 at the time of his death, The Hollywood Reporter mentioned.

Amos portrayed the role of a patriarch named James Evans who was in his first three seasons of the CBS groundbreaking show called Good Times. This was aired for a long time, including a massive six weeks from 1974 to 1979.

The star mentioned how he left Good Times after several disagreements and also explained how he could no longer be diplomatic.
