Johnny Depp has drawn cheers from the crowd outside the Fairfax courthouse following the end of Thursday proceedings.
As the actor left the court, he stopped by a large group of fans who cheered him on and voiced their support for his case.
“We love your hair!” one person shouted. “Love you, Johnny,” another screamed.
The actor then channeled the spirit of his Pirates of the Caribbean character Captain Jack Sparrow after a woman yelled that he will “always be the Captain Jack Sparrow.”
“He’s still around somewhere. I see him now and again,” Depp said in his iconic slurred accent as he briefly transformed into the character. He added: “He shows up now and again.”

Depp, who is arguably best known for playing the goofy pirate in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, reportedly lost $22.5 million after getting dropped from the sixth movie over Amber Heard’s 2018 allegations in The Washington Post.
As his legal team argued in the court, Heard’s allegations had an irreparable impact on the actor’s reputation and his ability to secure roles in future projects.
As a result, Depp sued Heard for $50 million in one of the biggest defamation cases ever. In response, Heard countersued the actor for $100 million saying Depp launched a “smear campaign” against her following their divorce and her allegations.
