Johnny Depp’s Edward Scissorhands Glove Goes Up For AUCTION After Amber Heard’s Bizarre Comment About The Actor’s Early Role


The glove Johnny Depp used in filming Edward Scissorhands has gone up for auction shortly after Amber Heard’s bizarre comment about the actor’s role.

In the 1990 classic, Edward – played by Depp – used the blades on his mechanical prop to cut hedges and later dogs’ and women’s hair.

More than three decades after the movie’s release, one of Scissorhands’ gloves went up for auction with experts suggesting it could be sold for more than $50,000.

The iconic movie memorabilia will reportedly be auctioned off in Los Angeles by Propstore auction house on June 21.

The news comes shortly after Amber Heard appeared on NBC’s Today show to reiterate her violence allegations against Johnny Depp.

Though she was ordered to pay the actor $10.35 million for defaming him after she lost in the blockbuster Depp-Heard trial, the Aquaman star insists she will stand by her testimony until the day she dies.

Among other allegations in her bombshell Today interview, Heard insisted that her ex-husband hit her and that the trial was unfair because of his fame.

The actress also said Johnny was a “fantastic actor” before bizarrely suggesting that he “convinced the world he had scissors for fingers.”

After Amber’s “weird” statement, social media erupted with hilarious comments and memes taking a jab at the actress.

“He convinced us all that he had scissors for hands and he really doesn’t!? What’s next? Are we going to find out that he’s not really a pirate and that he doesn’t own a chocolate factory!? How can this man get away with all this!?” one person joked.
