Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his family were left with no decision but to flee the Canadian capital city of Ottawa for a secret destination.
According to local media outlets, the Prime Minister made the quick decision due to security concerns after a massive fleet of more than 50,000 truckers arrived at his office. And that is where they started to protest by banging pots and pans against his windows.
The massive group of individuals is comprised of people known as the ‘Freedom Convoy’ who are against the country’s new vaccine mandate.
The shocking reports come at a time when the Prime Minister had just dismissed them as a small-scale minority but they managed to gather enough strength and come fight for their rights, straight to his office.
Sources claim that the demonstrators began marching up and down on the streets, flying flags of Canada, where the Prime Minister’s office is located as they felt the need to rally against his vaccine mandate.
The giant convoy comprised hundreds of vehicles that spanned nearly 45 vehicles long as they started to march towards the Canadian capital city of Ottawa.
Some of the protesters could also be seen carrying huge copies of the Charter of the Rights of Freedoms. Similarly, others had giant signs that stated “God Keep our Land Glorious and Free.”
Other common slogans included ‘Make Canada Great Again’ and ‘We are here to get our freedom’.
Local media outlets have gone on to speak about how the convoy reportedly stepped out from British Columbia on Sunday and was reportedly cheered on by numerous other Canadian citizens as they made their 2000 mile-long trip to protest against the vaccine mandates as well the Covid lockdowns.
The exact location of the Prime Minister and his family is yet to be disclosed but it has been announced that he is not in Ottawa currently.
