Kanye West has been brutally slammed for replacing his teeth with titanium dentures.
The 46-year-old rapper, who is no stranger to controversy, is said to have had all of his teeth removed and replaced with expensive, $850,000 titanium dentures that he himself designed, DailyMail.com reported.
“Ye was a pleasure to work with every step of the process. His vision for designing unique art transcends the dental progression. The marriage of his vision with dental science has created a new look that is epic!” the singer’s dentist, Dr Thomas Connelly, told the publication.
Connelly, however, disputed claims of teeth removal saying West still has a full dentition.
Following the procedure, the father-of-four proudly showed off his new smile on social media as he compared himself to the James Bond villain Jaws.
Rather than praise, the rapper was then showered with criticism and mockery even by his most loyal followers.
“Who in their right mind would spend nearly a million to look like a mentally challenged freak? Seriously, get your sh** together man,” someone wrote in response to Ye’s latest antics.
“What happens when he bites his tongue?” another joked.
A third went on a full-on rant: “This further proves that wealthy people are absolutely beyond bored and have nothing to do with their life whatsoever.
“They will do the most outrageous s***, spend the most money on the most outrageous things. Just to get attention, this dude in a multi-millionaire and if he wanted to can feed half of Chicago with his money.
“But this also proves the point that Kanye isn’t as crazy as you think. He’s definitely conscious and knowledgeable of some of the dumb s*** he does.”
