Rapper Kanye West allegedly had all of his teeth removed and replaced with expensive titanium dentures that he designed himself.
The 46-year-old father-of-four proudly showed off his shiny new smile on Instagram as he compared himself to the James Bond villain Jaws.
The titanium dentures, which are said to be more expensive than diamonds, were also seen in detail in a photo obtained by DailyMail.com.
According to the reports, West had all of his teeth removed before having the $850,000 dentures fitted by Dr Thomas Connelly in Beverly Hills.
“Ye was a pleasure to work with every step of the process. His vision for designing unique art transcends the dental progression. The marriage of his vision with dental science has created a new look that is epic!” Connelly told DailyMail.com.
While the publication insisted that West removed all of his teeth ahead of getting his dentures fitted, Connelly later suggested this was not the case.
“He did not have his teeth removed. He still has a full dentition. Healthy and happy,” the high-profile dentist told Complex.
As of this writing, Ye has yet to confirm or deny the rumors that his teeth were removed.
This comes shortly after DailyMail.com accused the singer of owing more than $1 million in unpaid taxes. $934,033.56 is allegedly owed by his clothing business – Yeezy Apparel – over four active tax cases. Another $101,093 in property taxes is further owed by the rapper for the homes he shared with his ex-wife Kim Kardashian.
It is currently unclear if Ye intends to pay the large sum any time soon.
