The Duchess of Cambridge wowed everyone in a recycled $3,700 Alexander McQueen blazer dress as she and her three children joined the Duchess of Cornwall for a carriage ride.
Kate Middleton, 40, smiled and waved at the crowds after she was previously seen riding in a vehicle with her husband Prince William, 39, who donned full military regalia for the ride down the Mall on horseback to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
Prince George, 8, Princess Charlotte, 7, and Prince Louis, 4 also joined other Royals on the Buckingham Palace balcony.
Kate, a huge fan of Alexander McQueen, decided to wear the blazer dress which she also wore last summer when she joined senior royals at the Eden Project for the G7 reception.
She also paid a heartwarming tribute to the late Princess Diana by wearing her necklace and earrings for the Trooping the Color.
Her hair was tied back into a clean bun and she highlighted her natural beauty with simple make-up.
Kate’s accessories included sapphire and diamond earrings from Princess Diana’s collection and a Philip Treacy hat.
The earrings featured detachable sapphire drops each surrounded by ten round diamonds to mark Prince Harry’s birth in 1985.
When the Duke of Cambridge gave them to his wife after their 2010 engagement, she also put her stamp on them by refashioning them into modest drop earrings.
The couple said that they were ‘looking forward to celebrating’ Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee ahead their first official joint engagement with Prince Harry and Meghan in two years at Trooping the Color.
“We’re looking forward to celebrating and seeing how you’re joining us in marking this #PlatinumJubilee weekend,” the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge said on their official Twitter account.
