Kate Moss’s body language during her testimony can tell us how she feels about Johnny Depp, body language expert claims.
On Wednesday, the 48-year-old supermodel who dated the Hollywood star between 1994 and 1997 appeared in court via video and delivered a shocking testimony that crushed some of Amber Heard’s allegations.
Now, an expert on body language analyzed Moss’s testimony – including her posture and facial expressions – and concluded that the model lit up with warmth as she spoke of her romance with the Pirates of the Caribbean star.
As Judi James, an author and leading body language expert, claimed, Kate’s subtle smile at the thought of her romance with Depp suggests she has nothing but positive feelings for the actor.
“Asked, ‘Do you know Jonny Depp?’ Kate’s very subtle facial movements suggest residual warmth at the memory. The right side of her mouth curls up in a subtle smile as she says, ‘Yes I do,’” James told DailyMail.com.
“Kate gives the impression of being polite, smiling sweetly and apologetically when speaking over the lawyer and being interrupted by him.”
She added: “Despite the fact that she is famously private, her blink rate and her shoulder angle look devoid of any signs of stress or anxiety.”
After his ex’s testimony was complete, Johnny, too, couldn’t hold back his emotions as he shared a brief smile knowing that Moss just delivered a major blow to Heard’s case.
James also analyzed Heard’s expressions at the time of Moss’s testimony and suggested that the actress displayed signs of denial.
“Amber is seen at times during this testimony, sitting mainly with her chin raised and her eyebrows arched,” the body language expert added.
“When Kate is asked how long she and Johnny were a couple [Heard’s] head seems to turn from side to side in a gesture that could suggest denial or irrelevance.”
Kate Moss’s testimony comes after Heard suggested that Depp pushed the model down the stairs during their trip to Jamaica.
Moss, however, now revealed that the actor never “pushed her or threw her down any stairs.” She went on to explain that she fell down the slippery stairs and that Depp did his best to help her get up after the fall.
