Keanu Reeves’s Los Angeles home was burglarized by multiple men wearing ski masks on Wednesday night.
According to the reports, the thieves smashed the windows of the actor’s residence before stealing a firearm and fleeing the scene just in time to avoid the police.
It was reported that the Hollywood actor was not at home at the time of the incident.
It was also revealed that the police rushed to Reeves’ home following an anonymous tip about a potential burglary at his residence.
This comes nearly a decade after the John Wick star’s home was first burglarized in 2014.
As of this writing, the manhunt for the suspects remains ongoing. The LAPD is also reviewing security footage in search of clues for the burglars.
“[The police are] specifically looking into whether the first call to cops was made by someone scoping the house,” an insider said according to TMZ.
As it happens, the beloved Hollywood icon hasn’t been free of incidents involving home invasions even prior to the latest burglary.
Earlier this year, Keanu secured a restraining order against 39-year-old Bryan Dixon after the stalker appeared at the actor’s $5.6 million LA home several times.
According to security footage, Dixon trespassed on Keanu’s property as many as six times between November 5 and January 20, prompting Reeves to hire a security firm to investigate him.
As for the 2014 incident, Keanu’s cleaning team found a female intruder who allegedly stripped off and jumped into his pool.
The woman was later arrested by the police and ordered to undergo a mental evaluation.
