One of Liam Payne’s closest friends who was even with the star right before his death is breaking silence.
The multi-millionaire who hails from Argentina shed light on how he and the singer really hit it off after meeting at a charity event.
Rogelio Roger Nores explained how he really enjoyed being in Liam’s company and explained how he may have been a celeb to the world but for him, he was a great individual and very humble.
In 2020, they first hit it off and since then, they had the strongest of bonds.
Nores explained how he really worked hard on keeping the star out of danger and that included ensuring he remained drug-free for a long time.
However, Liam’s other friends were not a true fan of the Argentinian as they felt he was keeping him away from the rest of the world, as the singer would be in isolation most of the time.
Payne had reportedly suffered a few traumatic episodes in the last two years and that’s why he had to work extra hard to ensure Payne was following the right track to sobriety and not falling prey to his own inner demons.
He even bought some property near the star’s mansion that he shares with his influencer lover.
Things seemed to be going okay as Liam turned to learning polo while enjoying bowling with his pals. In August of this year, Nores made his worries about the star crystal clear to his dad and management team.
He detailed in the note how Liam was only sober for four months and had a long journey ahead to become clean and he worried for him. Who knew his fears would come to life as the celeb fell to his death from his hotel balcony a few weeks back?
