Kelly Clarkson’s former husband is hitting back at her latest lawsuit against him that involves a staggering $2 million ruling.
Brandon Blackstock responded to the leading American Idol alum’s new legal case in which she stated that he needed to pay her back close to $2.6 million that a labor commissioner from California awarded to her for his illegal behavior.
This included his talent agency from 2007 which was working without any kind of license. While she did enter into an oral agreement with the family’s firm Starstruck Entertainment, this was also taking place side by side, hence deemed unlawful.
As per the recent array of documents attained by media outlet Page Six, Blackstock went about denying how every nerve and allegation produced by the singer was a lie. He continued to prove his innocence, adding how he never did anything that she was unaware of to attain more funds from her while she served as his wife.
He now feels the arguments must be dismissed as they have zero truths attached to them and that’s just the reality. And what’s now even more interesting is how Clarkson failed to file a notice appeal on this front and since ten days have passed, her former husband and attorney claim it’s no longer valid to have a separate lawsuit, hence deemed barred for failure.
