Two female passengers were reportedly kicked off an Air Canada flight during the first leg of their journey, sources have confirmed.
The duo were said to be heading towards Vienna after they refused to be seated inside seats that were covered in vomit for the five-hour-long flight.
The staff at Air Canada ended up spraying perfume and even left some coffee grounds inside the seat pouches to try and mask the smell but it was evident that it was not enough and that deep cleaning was required.
The stench was said to be serious during the flight that was heading to Montreal from Las Vegas. This was seriously a huge form of inconvenience to the passengers seated there as others had to witness the flight getting delayed.
The fact that the Air Canada staff refused to cooperate and instead opted to have chairs and seatbelts covered in wet residue and instead forced passengers to sit there had many fuming.
“There was nothing that they could do because the airline was full. If they didn’t wish to be seated in those seats, they were asked to leave”- one bystander seated nearby mentioned.
The pilot also ended up marching down to tell them how they would be escorted and put on the no-fly list for behaving rudely to staff but they didn’t mind and happily left. More investigations into the matter are now taking place.
