Four American Army soldiers have passed away in Lithuania after disappearing on a training site while on maneuvers just miles from the border.
The news was confirmed by NATO’s secretary general, Mark Rutte, who shared the details on Wednesday.
The four soldiers were from the first brigade 3rd Infantry Division and were from Fort Stewart in Georgia. They were last seen alive on Tuesday riding on armored vehicles during the tactical training exercises at the military site near the city of Pabrade in eastern Lithuania.
