The Duke of Sussex has arrived in London for the Invictus Games and it wouldn’t be wrong to mention how this is a very lonely visit indeed.
Not only are his wife and kids not accompanying him, but he would also be meeting his father who is said to be battling prostate cancer.
The spokesperson for the Sussexes confirmed yesterday how it’s a very difficult trip and the King’s ongoing engagements and tight program means he cannot fit Harry into his schedule. But many wonder if there is more to the story than meets the eye.
The decision was said to have arisen as mentioned by royal experts and insiders when a tough round of negotiations took center stage.
And while the demands and negotiations were not revealed, it’s confirmed now that no meeting between the King and Prince would be taking place due to Charles’ full schedule.
“It’s due to several demands that Harry has made and that swayed his father’s choice to meet his son who chose to renounce his British residency and make the US his new home”- the royal expert added. And more details spoken had to do with who could and couldn’t be in the room during the chat.
And while some think it’s the King who snubbed the Prince, it’s the latter who made things go from bad to worse in no time.
