Prince Harry was said to be just as reluctant as his dad in terms of carrying out a meeting during his London visit.
While the King was not getting a lot of love for refusing to make time to visit his son and instead working on organizing a garden party at the Palace, sources are speaking more on this front.
This has to do with the fact that a snub is better than meeting during a time when the bond between them is too toxic.
The Duke of Sussex reportedly touched down in the UK, moments ahead of the start of the Invictus Games. And he was all alone, with no family or friend in sight.
His wife and kids also did not accompany him on the short trip and before we knew it, the Prince was spotted meet and greeting royal fans in London.
He certainly got a lot of love but it was clear that something was missing and that was his family standing by his side.
But a spokesperson for the Duke did reveal how the Majesty’s program is very full to meet anyone so he wouldn’t have time. And while Harry does understand his father’s commitments, the fact that it’s a relief that no meeting is scheduled means he’s going to deal with less questions and drama.
With that being said, Harry does hope to meet his father very soon. For the time being, he’s going to pull the brakes and perhaps see him when things are more steady and the relationship is not as toxic, a royal insider confirmed.
