Justin Timberlake has been arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and now, more startling details regarding his arrest are being revealed.
The 10-time Grammy winner was followed by cops after attending a late-night party in the Hamptons. This was when cops noticed his vehicle running past a stop sign while the vehicle was weaving across the streets.
Now, more details about the exchange of words between the cops and the singer are being revealed including how the cop that arrested the star failed to recognize him.
After being told to get out of the vehicle, he was also asked by the young cop to take a breathalyzer test but the star refused, asking if he knew who he was.
The cop said no and Justin could be heard saying under his breath how this would be so bad for the tour and that’s when the cop asked what tour he was referring to.
The star became furious all of a sudden and mentioned how he was referring to the world tour and still the cop failed to understand.
Sources spoke to media outlet Page Six about how the singer’s friends did everything to make the cop understand that he was a celebrity and therefore it would be great if he could cut some slack but the officer refused and instead opted to arrest the star on the spot.
