Tragic reports have confirmed the death of a loving mother of two who reportedly passed away after participating in a race event that took place in Baianopolis in Brazil on Sunday.
Competitors were seen making their way to the finish line when all of a sudden, Jaiane Souza Oliveira Fernandes collided with a giant sound truck that was parked beside the track.
The massive force of the collision resulted in the speaker falling and then crushing her. As per reports from terrified spectators, they rushed in to help her and lift the giant speaker from her. That is when they administered her with first aid.
Paramedics arrived at a swift pace and ended up transporting her to a nearby hospital. This was where she was said to be in critical condition and was suffering from serious injuries to her head.
Despite all of the efforts made by her, she was pronounced dead at the scene of the event. Meanwhile, event organizers such as Dubai Bikes ended up expressing their condolences on this front. They mentioned through social media how this loss of a special person leaves a huge void in their hearts.
