Suzanne Somers’ tragic death has left the entertainment industry heartbroken and now, more details are being unveiled about her final moments.
Somers is believed to have died while holding her beloved husband’s hand.
Still numb from her partner’s loss who had been by her side for 50 years, she is believed to have passed away while holding Alan Hamel’s hand.
Moreover, he spoke about being numb and how he helped his partner overcome breast cancer by making use of all treatments available.
The actress is believed to have passed away at her residence in Palm Springs, California during the hours of Sunday, just one day before her 77th birthday.
Hamel says the duo carried on with their search to do the right thing at all times. And that’s when a point came where Somers relied on the alternative, allopathic, and integrative form of treatments linked to Western medicine.
She felt that things got to the point where it became awfully tricky and when you assumed things were fine and attained a clear-cut picture of what was going on, that’s the point where it got messier.
Calling out cancer as the worst form of the epidemic, he mentioned how it’s what got the best of his wife in the end.
The duo used to talk about how that ugly day was soon to come when they would be separated forever and they thought it was going to be him first as he is nearly ten years older in age than Somers.
“I used to tell her that if I pass, then you would be alone. And I could not imagine her being alone, there is no solution”- he cried while wiping his eyes.
Sources from local media outlets mentioned how the Three’s Company star spent a staggering seven weeks before her death at a physical therapy clinic that’s based in Chicago. This was after she struggled to cope with the pain of breaking her neck after falling down the steps at her residence in 2020.
