A Boeing 737 Max 8 flight left Korea’s Incheon International Airport at 4:45 pm local time on Saturday and was therefore heading to Taichung International Airport before it went with serious turbulence.
According to reports from local media outlets, horror arose when the plane developed a pressurization default while flying over South Korea’s Jeju Island, close to 30 minutes after it took off.
Footage of the horrifying incident was revealed online and that displayed how the passengers were going through absolute horror and distress while kids started to scream and cry loudly due to fear.
The descent was serious as more information from FlightRadar depicted how the jet dropped close to 27,000 feet all of a sudden in just 15 minutes.
The incident caused 17 passengers to require immediate medical assistance as a result of the fall. While the flight did manage to reach its final destination safely, many did have serious eardrum pain and needed treatment for hyperventilation. Soon after that, all 17 had been discharged as the injuries were not of severe extent.
