JUST IN: Brave Sniper & Father Of Two Who Left His Family To Fight In Ukraine DIES On The Battlefield


A 45-year-old deputy manager who left his country and beautiful family in Ireland to fight on Ukraine’s battlefield has reportedly died.

According to local media reports, the victim was identified as Oleksandr Zavhorodniy who served as a deputy manager in Dublin’s Aldi.

He is said to have left the comfort of his home and fought as a sniper in Ukraine because he always felt he just couldn’t sit at home in silence while the country was being torn apart for no reason.

The victim was a father of two young children and had a loving wife but he kept that aside and went on to assist the Ukrainians in their fight for freedom.

But the end turned out to be too tragic as he was reportedly killed recently.

The deputy manager’s friends and loved ones begged and pleaded that he stay back. However, he didn’t listen to any of them and continued with great perseverance.

He arrived in the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv where he reportedly settled down, hoping to come back home safe and sound but the war had other plans for him.

The 45-year-old flew out of the city of Warsaw and then made his journey toward Donbas. That is where he was reportedly killed, as revealed by local media outlets.

His grandmother has confirmed how he was recently buried in the ‘alley of heroes’ after his funeral where loved ones and friends mourned his loss.

“I was so worried and concerned when he told me that he was going to fight. He said it was his duty to defend his homeland as he was originally from there but had settled in Ireland for quite some time now”- his close friend revealed.
