McDonald’s is being bashed left and right after one of its loyal customers reportedly found an unwanted surprise inside one of their famous wraps.
The mother says she was beyond horrified and felt like gagging for hours after she accidentally ate half of a huge spider that was tucked inside.
Kate Moss who hails from Winsford in Cheshire says that fast food is her ultimate source of comfort food and whenever she thought of a quick fix, McDonald’s was her savior.
But now, the mother is ditching the famous fast-food chain after they chose to serve her some extra unwanted protein in the form of a huge spider that was tucked inside her chicken and bacon wrap.
“There was just something very unusual about the texture as a whole. I had no idea what I was biting into when all of a sudden I spit it out and made the horrifying discovery,” she stated.
Kate says that she ordered their regular bargain deals that comprise wrap and fries for her lunch on Wednesday. But after digging into three-quarters of her meal did she realize that she bit something hard.
“There was something so hard in my mouth. At first, I assumed that it was the hard end of the tomato so I opted to pull it out. When I did, I thought it was a chicken piece but as I examined it closer, I realized the horror of the situation in front of me,” the mom explained.
Kate says that she was confused between a spider and a crab. But when she realized it was the former, she spits out everything in her mouth, felt like gagging, and quickly went to rinse.
“I felt like throwing up all day, I couldn’t believe what I had just eaten,” she stated.
While McDonald’s is investigating the incident, they have apologized but clearly, they seem to have lost a loyal customer.
