The duo bundled her into the van and tried to take her off to an undisclosed location. But the victim fell on the road, resulting in her critical injuries that have turned her life upside down forever.

Angel was discovered by members of the public who couldn’t believe the condition that she was in. Paramedics were called to the scene and they rushed her immediately to a nearby local hospital.

After undergoing a number of surgeries, she managed to survive but doctors revealed how she would never be the same person again.

For this reason, Bowskill had been handed a long jail sentence that was nearly seven and a half years long, as the jury found him guilty of kidnapping, controlling behavior, and also of making attempts to try and pervert the true course of justice, moments after his trial at the Crown Court in Leicester.

Therefore, he was sentenced to just 21 months in jail but many were outraged and beyond shocked at the lenient prison sentencing. And that’s why his and his accomplice’s sentences were sent back to the court of appeal by the Solicitor General, who continued to argue how they were unduly lenient.
