Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are channeling out some controversial characters from the famous The Idol as they celebrate Halloween.
The pair recently took to their accounts on Instagram to share some clicks in this regard as they dressed up like Jocelyn and Tedros from the famous HBO series that featured Abel Tesfaye or The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp.
Teigen was in a league of her own where she put together several similar styles from the leading show and that included one red robe in satin material and a pair of pink lingerie.
She then chose to have her husband stay glued to her side in matching apparel where John donned a short-sleeved printed zebra-designed top that was buttoned up alongside black pants.
The famous model even took the look to a new realistic level featuring her blonde-colored wig that replicated Jocelyn’s hair and had Legend styling himself with the infamous red tail of Tedros.
The images came with some bold captions that stated, ‘Gone too soon!’ and it was also mentioned how this love story was one of the greatest ones of them all. Moreover, the pictures had fans gushing over those sultry snaps and so many insisted that this was the best thing that had ever happened to them.
One person even added how John did the best job and perhaps beat out the Weeknd who again is known for dressing up. Others commented on the couple’s controversial costumes and loved how spot-on they ended up being.
Media outlet Page Six did mention in August of this year that we would not see The Idol come back for a second season after it reportedly got plenty of backlash for being very controversial during the first season that was aired this year.
But critics blasted the show’s producers for glorifying a sensitive subject like abuse and assault and making it seem like it was a fantasy. Meanwhile, the Weeknd was similarly slammed for his performance with many calling him comically bad.
