Oprah Winfrey is hitting back at all the rumors that have linked her and her good friend Gayle King romantically.

The leading celeb explained how her relationship with her friends is very dear and near to her and to have someone refer to it as a lesbian ordeal was not at all acceptable.

While Winfrey did try her best to keep a straight face, she mentioned that such accusations are baffling and therefore slammed all the rumors that spoke about her being gay.

“If I was gay, then I would have told you. There is nothing to hide here!”- she mentioned.

For Winfrey, romantic relationships are just as important as platonic friendships. But she does get irked when people call her and Gayle partners instead of good friends.

The star made the shocking confessions about her personal life during an interview on Wednesday. This is where she addressed the longstanding rumors and hoped that everyone’s confusion on the matter would be solved.

‘For so many years, I would have people telling me that I am gay. They would listen for more gossip but the sad part is that there’s nothing to talk about’- she continued.
