Two women who were present with Liam Payne the night before he passed away are speaking to prosecutors.
The police stated that they were looking for two key witnesses who spent the final moments with the star before his death. Thankfully, they were tracked down and told to cooperate with the investigation, which they did. Speculations about them being possible escorts have arisen.
The police confirmed how they were looking for the duo and called it an integral part of the investigation. While the duo were with him inside his room at the Casa Sur hotel, they left him before he plunged to his death.
Both of them were told to provide statements, alongside three other members of the staff. Liam died instantly after sustaining serious injuries due to the fall from his balcony and therefore could not be saved by the paramedics who rushed to the scene.
Both women waited for the star in the lobby and did interact with him. After leaving his room, they waited for him again in the lobby but left when he did not come.
The cops confirmed that both women do not appear to be involved in his death but can help piece the puzzle together as to what the events were before his death. “He was alone in the room”- the police confirmed at the time of his death but hours before, he was surrounded by company.
