Former One Direction star Liam Payne has passed away tragically at the age of 31.
According to reports from local media outlets, the popstar reportedly fell from the third floor of a hotel in the Argentinian capital city of Buenos Aires as per reports from TMZ.
Several witnesses have confirmed the tragic news and how Mr. Payne fell from his room at the CasaSur Palmero Hotel, shortly after 5pm during the evening on Wednesday.
Emergency services are still present outside the hotel where the star was residing and a red tent was erected at the scene, shortly after the reports were published.
At the moment, investigations into the matter are still taking place including how the sudden and tragic incident took place that took away his life.
The star shot to fame in 2010 when he and his ex-bandmates wowed the judges with their incredible vocal talent and persona. The star was previously in a relationship with UK-based popstar Cheryl Cole and the duo welcomed a baby boy together in 2017.
More reports spoke about how he fell and landed on the hotel’s courtyard, leaving guests stunned and screaming for help as they did not expect the horrifying and tragic scenes to unfold before them. The star even posted an image of himself with his lover on social media, where he spoke about his love for Argentina.
