Liam Payne’s lover Kate Cassidy felt like she was in a hostage situation.
Her close friend revealed to local media outlets that the lover of the One Direction alum didn’t know what to do in terms of deciding whether or not she should leave Argentina in the days that led up to his tragic death.
Cassidy’s friend explained to the New York Post that the 25-year-old influencer agonized over her decision before she finally decided to go back home.
She and her lover were never intended to stay for this long and for a trip that was already so extended, she needed a break. She had a life and a family and a dog to go back to, the friend continued to explain.
Cassidy did tell her friend that she was so worried about Payne and how he might be returning to his old habits of using drugs despite being clean for so long.
“She feared the worst would happen if she left and how he might abuse drugs when she left”- it was a hard situation for anyone to be in.
She spent two weeks with him and never left his side. They both made memories, attending concerts, and whatnot but in the end, they didn’t see eye to eye in terms of her return to Miami.
Cassidy’s thought process was always stuck on Liam and his wellbeing. “She can’t leave or else what might go wrong. And if she does go, what will he do”- were the type of questions rolling on in her thought process constantly.
