A loving dad from Australia was reportedly killed after a giant 16-foot-long crocodile attacked him and his wife.
In a desperate effort to save his wife, the father of three surrendered to the giant beast who dragged him away into the pond, before killing him.
His heartbroken wife is now speaking out about the nightmare she witnessed unfold before her eyes. She recalled the exact moment that her husband did everything to ensure she and the kids were safe. And he sacrificed his life for the sake of theirs.
The victim was identified as 40-year-old doctor Dave Hogbin who fell inside the crocodile-infested waters after a riverbank collapsed during his camping trip to the state of Queensland.
His wife Jane Hogbin and their three little sons were saved but leaving without Dave was the biggest heartbreak that they would now have to live with.
Dave was known for being the most loving and selfless individual, his wife explained. He was fit, tall, and strong, but little did he ever know that he would have to encounter a giant beast who could take his life away in the end.
