If you believe in miracles then this next story about hope, courage, and love is sure to melt your heart.
A 2-year-old girl who was born prematurely and suffered from a growth condition is finally given the green signal by doctors to go home, after spending her entire life inside a hospital.
The girl was identified as Addy Smith whose parents are beyond ecstatic at their daughter’s progress and how they are finally allowed to take her back home with them for the first time since she was born.
Addy’s condition was declared severe after it was revealed how she was diagnosed with a condition that affected her growth while being in her mother’s womb.
Therefore, when she was born, not only was she premature, but she also weighed less than one pound. In the same way, doctors shed light upon how her lungs were also underdeveloped during that period, further adding great complications to an already increasing list.
“Our baby spent a scary 848 days on a ventilator as she tried her best to fight for her life and even had to undergo coding too”- the emotional parents explained while speaking about their miracle child.
Similarly, the parents also spoke about how little Addy needed heavy sedation and was also forced to use paralytic drugs.
Her critical condition meant her parents had to be near her and that’s why they had reportedly set up an RV, right outside the hospital and that’s where they both lived.
After that, they were thankfully blessed with a living space across the street which became their new abode. But every day was nothing less than an obstacle with little Addy’s heath.
Some days were definitely tougher than ever but the couple says they are beyond grateful for the way things turned out in the end because now, they can finally take their baby home.
